U.C.W. Spring Bazaar & Bake Sale: The United Church Women's annual Spring Bazaar & Bake Sale will
be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. There will be crafts, knitted items, baking,
jams, preserves, used treasures and tea room. There's a "croeso" ("welcome") for everyone to

From The Pulpit: We all love to see beautiful floral arrangements at the front of the sanctuary. The Reverend Deian Evans invites members of the congregation to donate weekly arrangements in honor or in memory of a loved one. Acknowledgement will be included in the Bulletin.  Hymn singing is in our veins and
we all have our favourites. Perhaps you will be one of the lucky ones invited by Deian to chose your favourite
hymn during the morning service.Once a month Deian plans to hold
a "Family Service" during which an entire family will be invited to participate. What a super idea.Thanks to Deian's regular articles
to Y Cymro ( a Welsh newspaper), the people back home are kept up to date with Dewi Sant's news. There is much
interest in our centenary celebrations and The Western Mail intends to cover the event.Scripture Readers Wanted: We're looking for volunteers to read from the Scriptures for the Sunday services. If you are interested, please place your name on the U.C.W. bulletin board. Prayer Requests: Personal prayer means a great deal. "More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of." If you have any requests for prayers, e-mail them to the Church at info@dewisant.com. These requests will be included in our prayers during the service. Sunday Tea: The U.C.W. would like to express its sincere thanks to those faithful few who help out with the tea each week after the service. However, it is not fair that just a few people should be doing all the work. Our fellowship time after the service is one of the things that bonds us together as a congregation. Please help us to keep this important part of our Church life going by volunteering to help with both the Sunday morning and Sunday evening teas. Announcements: Announcements need to be sent to Wanda, our Church Secretary, by Wednesday afternoon in order to be included in the Sunday bulletin.. Church Hall: Anyone interested in booking the Church or the Hall for an event, please contact the Church Office. |
