Sunday School Stamp Collection: The members of the Dewi Sant Sunday School continue to collect postage stamps.
We welcome all donations of used stamps. Food Basket: Please remember the food basket, toiletries basked and the used eyeglass basket in the Narthex.. New Organist Required: Our valued organist and friend, Dr. Murray Black, is retiring at the end of this year after almost sixteen years of service to Dewi Sant. We are now searching for someone to assume the musical leadership that Murray has so ably provided. The role involves playing on Sunday mornings and at one evening Welsh service each month. There are of course church festival days (Good Friday, Christmas Eve etc.) and other special days (weddings, funerals etc.) where musical leadership would be required. The organ in the church is an Allen digital organ with two keyboards and a full pedal board. The organ also has Midi capacity. Remuneration will depend on qualifications and experience and will be in line with suggested levels by the RCCO. Please contact Dewi Sant Church or Betty Cullingworth for more information. From The Pulpit: We all love to see beautiful floral arrangements at the front of the sanctuary. The Reverend Deian Evans invites members of the congregation to donate weekly arrangements in honor or in memory of a loved one. Acknowledgement will be included in the Bulletin. Scripture Readers Wanted: We're looking for volunteers to read from the Scriptures for the Sunday services. If you are interested, please place your name on the U.C.W. bulletin board. Prayer Requests: Personal prayer means a great deal. "More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of." If you have any requests for prayers, e-mail them to the Church at info@dewisant.com. These requests will be included in our prayers during the service. Sunday Tea: The U.C.W. would like to express its sincere thanks to those faithful few who help out with the tea each week after the service. However, it is not fair that just a few people should be doing all the work. Our fellowship time after the service is one of the things that bonds us together as a congregation. Please help us to keep this important part of our Church life going by volunteering to help with both the Sunday morning and Sunday evening teas. Announcements: Announcements need to be sent to Wanda, our Church Secretary, by Wednesday afternoon in order to be included in the Sunday bulletin.. Church Hall: Anyone interested in booking the Church or the Hall for an event, please contact the Church Office. |
